Fairmount Project

The Fairmount Project is a 2-tier service that provides higher and lower levels of

accommodation-based care and support across three sites. This provision is for 29 adult

males with a history of offending, severe and enduring mental health problems and

drug or alcohol problems. The high support service has 24 hour staffing, 7 days a week.

The low support service operates with day time staff on site, and emergency call-out

provision at night across three sites in Lambeth and Southwark.

Jigsaw Project

The Jigsaw project is a 2-tiered service providing an accommodation-based care and

support service (6 units), leading to independent living with floating support (21 units.)

This service is provided for adults linked into Probation services, who have severe and

enduring mental health problems and alcohol or drug problems. The accommodationbased

service has day time staff on site with an emergency call-out provision at night.

Jigsaw was the joint winner of the 2001 Health and Social Care Awards with our New

Hope Project.

FIPTS Project

The Forensic Intensive Psychological Treatment Service (FIPTS) is a 2-tiered

service providing a residential registered care service leading to more independent

accommodation. The high support provision operates with staff on site 24 hours a day,

7 days a week. The low support service operates with day time staff on site and an

emergency call-out provision at night. FIPTS works closely with forensic mental health

service to provide a specialised service to 10 adults with a history of offending and a

primary diagnosis of Personality Disroder.

New Hope Project

The New Hope project is a Residential Registered Care Home offering 24 hour support

to 12 adults with a history of offending, and severe enduring mental health problems

and alcohol or drug problems. The New Hope project is widely held as a model of

good practice, and was also the winner of the Andy Ludlow Award for Creativity and

Innovation in 1999, as well as the joint winner of the 2001 Health and Social Care Awards

in 2001.
